Thursday Thursday

So today was pretty good. I had dance class first thing in the morning, and I have to say that I thought I did pretty well. I even got a small compliment from Ms. Hogg on the floor work. That made me feel way better about it. And then we got to swear in drama class. And next week we get to be little people making tea for a giant.

Sara and Alicia are the two people who've told me they're buying my book. Next time I see you please! And Alicia, when do you want singing lessons to start? It's up to you. But on Tuesdays.

Don't have much to say today. Pretty tired, but about to work on some more of my story. Anyone read chapter 7 and 8 yet? I can't wait for your feedback, so I hope you can get that to me soon. It will start to get better very soon, when they make it to the cottage. Trust me. Way better.

Thanks for the limerick compliment Olivia. And because of it, I will put up my limerick from my poetry anthology for you to read. Tell me what you think this time!

A girl on her trip to the sea,
Made a gorgeous sandcastle with glee.
But when she washed off, her mother did scoff,
'Sand's in places, sand shouldn't be!'

Thank YOU!!

Jeanette! OMG! I HATE the name for the newest Eragon book. Brisingr? Whatever happened to five letters and starting with E?!?!? WHY IS ERAGON ALWAYS SO SCREWY???

Ahem. I apologize. That explosion has been simmering inside me just waiting for the book. I'm gonna go buy it though. The books, even if amature and based too much on LOTR, are still good and I like them.

Emma, that is the BEST limerick I've ever heard. I'm serious. And I'm probably not gonna order a copy of your book. I'll steal it from someone.

Laters.

I'm Addicted to this game

Ok so I found this game call Flood It! it is so addicting. I play it all the time. I just finished City of Bones! it is really good. hey Cody do you have City of Ashes? Can i borrow it if you do??? Also is anyone reading brisinger. I preordered it and im getting it tonight. I hate the title!!! What a stupid name!! I think it should have been Empire. If you haven't read Eragon and Eldest but want to (i dont know if everyone has read it) this could be a spoiler. I think Roran will be the last dragon rider because this is the only member of Eragon's Family still alive that isn't a rider. Anyway, i have to go, i suggest no one get me started on Books that annoy me, i could go on forever.

NEETTTTTYYY!

Heyz, I just wanted to welcome our newest member Jeanette!!!!!! Other than I have nothing to say but Algonquiun park tuesday!

Cassandra Clare Canada

Here's an update from Cassandra Clare:

Cassandra Clare:
This is the info I have so far:

"Your Toronto event on December 8 will be at the Bayview Village (it’s
a mall) location of Indigo, northeast corner of Sheppard and Bayview
Avenues. Exact time still TBA but, given that it’s a Monday, my guess
is 6:00 or 7:00.

December 9 at Vankids in Vancouver is at 3083 West Broadway, corner of
Balaclava St. It is also an evening event with precise time TBA."

Sounds awesome! Everyone's going, right?

Tired Thursday

Finally it seems that my complaining on the blog has paid off! Thank you Alicia and Sara for promising that you will soon be buying Into The Night. I just need to know about Sophie and- Olivia? I'm not sure. But thank you anyhow.
As a status update on my first novel, Within Hewitt Manor, I earned $33.77 from our 11 purchased copies. As the recently sent out press release circulates, hopefully that will draw more attention to both Within Hewitt Manor and Into The Night.

Cody, I've invited Jeanette to the blog, and it is now up to her to respond. Just a clarification though; Jeanette is everyone on the blogs friend, and shares a childhood with us. The blog will only remain open to those who fit the criteria, even as we meet new friends in high school. But they're welcome to read if they'd like.

Today was exhausting. I had a lot of homework. Theory class is testing, but so far the work's been okay. I actually like Science right now which is surprising, Geography's alright too. I love English and my Drama Elective class best so far though. Even Dance class seems to be okay, though its straining physically and requires a ton of equipment and discipline.
Karate starts tomorrow, so I guess Alicia and Sara decided that they won't be coming. If you want, you can still sign up for next week, but do it fast. Victoria and I are going to get ahead of you!

I'll leave you with a limerick I wrote under the idea of a Poetry Anthology for English Class. Tell me what you think.

There once was a girl from Nantucket,
Who carried a green-filled paint bucket.
She tripped on a stone, the bucket was thrown-
And her green little brother screamed f**k it!
