Coraline and Neil Gaiman!

AHHHHH!!!!!!

That's how I felt on the inside when I saw Neil Gaiman yesterday.
Mary- my awesome friend and connection to all of Harpercollins- invited me to go with her to the pre-screening of Coraline. I loved the book because it's so creepy, and the movie definitely lives up to it! The whole experience was amazing, and the movie comes out on Friday in theatres. It's the first stop motion animation movie made entirely in 3D. It took nine years to make it as amazing as it is now!

WATCH IT.

Before and after the film, Neil talked to us, made hilarious jokes with that sexy British voice of his, and answered questions. He's a really nice person- twisted, and I love him more for that- but he was really tired. Mary's going to try and find out when we can have breakfast with him!

I also got to see my friend Lesley Livingston again after we were interviewed about her new book Wondrous Strange for the show on Space called The Circuit. She hugged us, and told us that she'd just sent in revisions for the second book that day! I can't wait to find out what happens!

READ IT.

I'm about to work on editing Into The Night more so I can send it to Lesley's editor!

Yes, I was indeed in America, Cody. Cleveland to be exact.
What resides in Cleveland?
My brother's hockey tournament of course.
AND The Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame!!!
Guess who's guitar Cody?
JOE STRUMMER'S!!
I also enjoyed my IHOP pancakes immensely.

My first exam is tomorrow. It's Science. And by the way Coderee, you've got it easy. I also have a Math, English, Vocal, and Theory exams.

Also, I might be getting Advanced Tickets to see Coraline in theatres... and meet Neil Gaiman!

I'm very pleased that your boyfriend is a vegetarian.
I hate Katie's boyfriend.

"And Alicia I keep hearing that you and Garrett are fighting. Congrats, and what happened?"
Single best line EVER. Indeed Alicia, explain.

I SAY 'O'
YOU SAY 'BAMA'
'O'
'BAMA'
'O'
'BAMA'

For Taylor's sake, DO have a historical day?

First Day Of October!

Yay! We're here, in October. The air flows cool, the colours grow warm, the scents are of gourdes...
It's a good time!
It's also Cut Out Dissection month. You can download the calender and other helpful tips to help make our schools more animal friendly here.

Today I had my first dance evaluation. I don't get to find out how well- or not well- I'm doing until my first report card though. I feel pretty good about it though, especially for not having any prior experience. Drama class was fun today. I danced a lot, laughed a lot, kicked Rebecca a lot. It was good! You have no idea how one cup of coffee first thing in the morning can make my day so much better!

Sara, I have to let you know that my wonderful mother has already pre-ordered our copy of Appeal To Reason. And there is still no way that this Oscar kid is more obsessed than Rise Against than I am. Did he fly to San Fransisco, California, USA to see them in a fabulous concert where they played a gorgeous Swing Life Away as the encore? No. I didn't think so.
Alicia, if you'd like I can burn The Sufferer and The Witness next time you come over to my house. When you give me that awesome friends DVD you made me.

You all better love the movie Stardust. Well, if you've read the original book of it, you should know that the author is Neil Gaiman. His, The Graveyard Book just came out, and here is a fantastic video of poetry reading he read. It's instructions on what to do if you fall into a fairy tale. It's very good advice people. Listen closely.

Sara, I pray too for your Nonno. I know what having a Nonno in the hospital is like. And Jeanette, for your massive homework load. Not that I don't have my own.

Totally fawesome dude!
