Note On Midnight Sun Leak

I have to mention my point of view on this whole leaked Midnight Sun issue.
Reading that note, I have to say that I think the way Stephenie Meyer has been handling this situation is very realistic, understandable, and even quite brave. Posting the link to the site the leaked copy is on so as not to lay guilt on fans unable to resist reading must have been a tough decision, and shows the care she has for each and every one of her fans. I know that from a writer's standpoint, taking a break from the story to truly enjoy the experience must not have been something she enjoyed deciding, but was ultimately the only decision. Don't we all want Stephenie Meyer to be happy and feel more than satisfied with the way Edward's story is written? We won't enjoy it properly if it's not what we know to be Stephenie's best work. I am happy, and have to say have new faith in the abilities of the artist.

Just had to say that to contrast Alicia's heart-shapeless post.

Breaking Dawn: The End? Or Another Beginning?

I thought that title sounded pretty cool. But who knows, maybe it won't be just Edward who needs more of his own story told. I hope it's not just him, there's more we can know.
But boy did I love it! Breaking Dawn is my absolute favourite book in Twilight, no questions asked! It was perfect and flawless and more than I could have dreamed. I'm ecstatically, fantastically more than satisfied, and I love every side, every character, everything! Ahhh, Twilight. You truly were a phenomenon and I hope that it won't end here, though I have to say I'm fine if it does. I have no complaints, and my hands are in the air. Beautiful. Stephenie Meyer, you are a genius.

Olivia, trust me, there's nothing abnormal about working on more than one story at a time. I currently have about four going, while some are more serious and in form than the others, but it helps me to remember ideas and allows me to take a break when I'm at a block without stopping writing. And I would love to read your story Olivia, send it right along.

Oh, and by the way, I would say that in Breaking Dawn, there's a tie between favourite characters, can you believe it? And I would say more than two. The story was truly the best part; sorry Edward, but Breaking Dawn as a whole has got you beat for favourite dimension. I still love you though!

Tomorrow our lives will change.

The moment we read the last word of Stephenie Meyer's final Twilight book Breaking Dawn, our lives will be different you guys. Just as Harry Potter changed my life, so will this, though I have to say nothing will ever impact me the way Harry has. But really, all we know about Breaking Dawn is the little bit the prologue gives, that there's a wedding, and that Stephenie Meyer is totally satisfied with the story. Let's just hope it leaves us the same way. I'm sure it will.

At this moment, I have to say we're lucky.
And that pilates is lame, while karate kicks ass.

Twilight Movie Website

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer has officially wrapped up filming and is now going through the editing stages.
There's a new website at www.twilightthemovie.com that has such things as a section with a blog and video by the director of the film Catherine Hardwicke that can show you some really awesome stuff. Seriously, check it out.
Here's another picture linked from Stephenie Meyer's site involving the scenes in the trees. The trees!

I will die if this movie isn't awesome.

New CoG Cookie! And A Response from Cassie herself!

Here's another cookie from City Of Glass posted by Cassandra Clare. In response to one of my questions, Cassie talked about how she's spoken once to Stephenie Meyer and it was mostly Stephenie asking for spoilers on CoG. When you're the author of Twilight and you ask for spoiler, you get it. She also mentioned that she's excited about the Twilight movie, so Cassie's hopeful. Oh, and this cookie contains the first look Sebastian! No sign of Jace though, hmm...

Eventually the gravel road gave way to dirt and then to rutted mud.
The horse slowed down to find its footing and Clary started to breathe
again. She was almost beginning to enjoy the ride when they crested a
hill and Sebastian pulled up short. “This is it.”
Clary stared. It was a tumbled mass of charred, blackened stone,
recognizable as something that had once been a house only by outline —
there was a hollowed chimney, still pointing toward the sky, and there
a chunk of wall with a glassless window gaping in its center. Weeds
grew in among the foundation, green among the black. “I don’t
understand,” she said. “Why are we here?”
“You don’t know?” Sebastian asked softly, and when she shook her head,
he said, “This was where your mother and father lived. Where your
brother was born. This was Fairchild Manor.”

By the way, I'm jazzed about Sophie and my business project too. What's better than café ESpresso?
