In Response To Cody...

1. Yes, Sparknotes has saved my life various times. Only, it can't make me like Twelfth Night. I don't read Shakespeare under pressure. For example, while I was reading Hamlet out of my own personal interest, it was a lovely help to understand. Twelfth Night is a comedy that isn't even funny.

2. Yeah, you can borrow my copy of MAX. Don't bother reading the 4th, anything that you missed is easy to pick up on- and you didn't miss much in the first place. Oh, here's an interview about the book with James Patterson.

You have read the book by now, right? It came out yesterday, so if you haven't, I truly don't understand.
MAX was way better than the fourth, but still not as good as the first three in my opinion.

Who remembers Cardcaptors? I do! And I love it even more now that I've found the original full-length uncensored version of the show on Youtube, plus its two movies.
Shoaran and Meilin Li are the BEST.
Kero's pretty awesome too.

So, who's going to blog about their March Break? That's pretty much all that mine has consisted of so far.

Don't Let The Blog Die!

Come on guys, the blog has existed for over a year now. We can't give up on it!

Okay, I'm sick. So I was rereading Ingo today.
Of course, that age-old question of "How do the Mer have sex?" Came up.
I have decided to clear this up for you all, as strange as it sounds. We need answers.

As you know, the Mer have seal tails. This is the area in which their parts are, leading me to believe that since Faro doesn't wear clothes, Sapphire has seen these parts many, many times. Remember how she stares at his tail when she first meets him, and he's laughing because she gets embarrassed at staring? It may blend into the tail, but these facts exist.
So, assuming that female parts are the same as seals too- and therefore better hidden- Mer sex must be similar to seal sex. It's sort of like dogs, except you consider the shape of their bodies and the idea that sometimes the male contorts until he lays down beside her.
Also- this action happens on land. So if Mer that have no Air in them - unlike Faro and Elvira- cannot leave Ingo, it may happen on different surfaces underwater too, such as a bed-type thing like Saldowr has.

Now, let's take into consideration the new relationship between Faro and Sapphy.
While in the books they never even kiss, they do determine that they will next time she returns to Ingo, and after peace has settled. So, Faro being Mer, and Sapphy being human would change the way sex works for them.
Consider this - Faro has the classic seal tale, and Sapphy is the same shape as us, but because the male in the relationship is the Mer and the female is the human, it would simply be a matter of their own personal preferences - seal and human style would work. (Creepy as that sounds.)
If the human had been the male and the Mer the female it's harder to guess, but I assume it's a mix between the two because of their body shapes. Unless someone else has an idea, we may have to refer to Helen Dunmore for an official answer.

As a conclusion; Faro and Sapphy's sex life will be just fine once they decided who's moving to the other's world.

Also- who's dying for MAX? I read the excerpt (which you need to read by the way) and I can't wait until the 16th! It's during break too so we can just read, read, read!

To be honest, I'm PRAYING that Fang is correct. Because the Max cover is so awesome, and it doesn't look anywhere near lame. And that's Kinda how Water Wings sounds, no offense. Strong, fiery female power is absolutely what Max appears to be about! I mean, which title sounds better for Max and Fang's relationship, especially the way he keeps talking about it on their new blog? I mean, his relationship status says: It's Complicated. Intrigue! Unfortunately we must wait until March...

New U2 album comes out in February!

Goatstock at my school is next week Thursday before our PA Day, parent/teacher interviews are tomorrow afternoon so I get out of school at lunch, and Friday is a new Miscellaneous at lunchtime!

NO EASTER!!!!

My mom is in Stratford with my grandparents for the weekend, and I asked my dad if we are going to celebrate Easter (ie chocolate, really good food,) and he said no! He said no to getting me and my brother chocolate!!!

I didn't eat any meat yesterday, but I did give my cat a piece of bacon and then lick my fingers. Does that count?

Oh, and Emma, since that house is awfully big, one more person wouldn't make a difference, right? I mean, I can cook, andplay piano...not that I would degrade myself to a servant just to live in the Basilica.

BTW I'm writing on the computer...thats in my room, and thats really exciting. I'm getting MSN today...or tomorrow.

IT'S NOT THE LAST MAX RIDE!

Geesh Olivia, there's going to be twelve! That's only the fourth! Don't worry, JP said that the whole Max/Fang thing at least will be resolved to some extent in book five. Maybe Max will just stop flying away every time he tries to kiss her. That would be what I call 'making progress'.

Cody- Jesus was crucified Good Friday, and rose from the dead on Easter. Apparently he was also a big fan of the bunny rabbit and chocolate. Soooo much I have in common with Christ.

Sara- I'm glad you like my story so far. Is it freaky that Livi's making lemon squares and that's my whole chapter five? Please tell me that there isn't a mouse in yours Livi. Oh, and as for that video-. I have nothing to say.

Did anyone else get a black out last night, around 10:45 last night? Apparently it went all the was down to Eglinton. We lit piles of candles, and I read some Max Ride. Started and finished last night. That's the last book right? Cause it shouldn't be. I really didn't like the ending. Did nothing for me. Too many loose ends. I was fuming over that when I finished at about 1:00.

Yay! I joined the flock!

The title says it all. I would have joined sooner, but I was having picture problems. I figured it out though Soph! It updated it to say that the picture must be under 2 megabytes, it should say on your information for the picture panel. If it's over, you may be able to crop it, or you can take another picture. Usually the less colours or items you have in your picture, the lower the MB.
I'll put up the pic of me in the flock as soon as I get the e-mail.

Maxride

Yeah, I went to the maximum ride site yesterday, and i did the join the flock thing too. It didn't let me load a picture either. Unless I have no skin, my face is red and you can see all my muscles. I'm done Within Hewitt Manor. I think the title would be better if it was " Within Hewitt Manor "
Instead of "Within Hewitt Manor..." The dots seem too...I dunoo too...not covery. Just a suggestion. Alicia thinks so too.

So, for Emma's Alicia's Sara's and my addiction for the sound of music, I have printed out copies of most of the songs for each of us. It is nine pages long. :)

Oh...and to Cody...Because of all the writing I did for the sound of music thingys, I ran out of ink so I am going to send it to you and to me. If you don't want to print it out...It's no prob, I'll do it at school tomorrow.

Okay, I was on Fang's Blog (laugh Sophie) and there's this new join the flock thing. It's pretty cool looking. Go to the Max Ride site and check it out. Only problem is, you have to load a photo. For some reason it won't let me load a photo. If this happens to anyone else please tell me. Or if you know how to fix it, once again please tell me.

I'm really bored. There's nothing new happening. I need another book to come out. Who cana't wait until March 5th?

OH MY GOD! Thanks so much Sophie! I can tell the alligator to go back to the zoo now! The Final Warning really did come out early in Canada! I can't believe it! There's no information saying that anywhere! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!
I finished about ten minutes ago. I won't really say anything for those who haven't read it yet, but I do agree with your comment about the ending Soph. I still thought it was really good. And funny too!
All I can say now is: I CAN'T WAIT FOR BOOK FIVE!

I begged my Mom and Dad to take me to Chapters for it now, but I do have to say that the Maximum Ride blog and website say it comes out the 17th. Chapters.ca says that too. Even here it was supposed to come out tomorrow. I don't know. But I do know if this is some joke Sophie, I'm going to hunt you down and feed you to an alligator that just came back from the dentist. Seriously.

Maximum Ride!!!

Emma, when was 'The Final Warning supposed to come out? I thought it was supposed to be the 17th, but I bought and read the whole thing yesterday. The fifteenth. So I'm really confused. Like, at the end of most of your messages you put like four days to the final warning...or whatever. So i checked on Friday, the fourteenth, and you said three days till the warning...Which would be the 17th...But I got it yesterday...I'm really confused. Anyway...In case you still think it is coming out tomorrow, get it today!!! It is really good. Kind of short though, and the ending is kind of weird. But still really really good.

So if any of you have seen Degrassi, I saw the guy who played Jimmy (the guy in the wheelchair) in Yorkdale yesterday. It was really weird. Kind of pathetic considering he isn't even that famous and I still got excited about seeing a "movie star". Told ya...I really need to get out more often. My mom said that the first famous person she saw as a kid was Dr. Spock. From Star Trek. The guy with the pointy ears.

I'm bummed that we have school tomorrow, but I'm glad that I'm going to see my friends again. And that I wont be bored.

I did the 'how many five year olds could yoou beat up...but my computer is screwed so it wouldn't let me post the thingy. I got 23.

The fourth book in Ingo - The Crossing of Ingo - comes out May 2008 in England. I have to order it online if I want to get it here, or I'd have to wait until next year.



The sixteenth book of The Roman Mysteries - The Scribes From Alexandria - comes out June 2008.



The fourth Twilight book - Breaking Dawn - comes out August 2nd 2008.



I can't wait! By the way, I've invited Katie, Alicia and Cody to join the blog as well. Hopefully someone else will actually post something. That was kind of the point.
